We all know Chicago Bulls as the NBA team which the legendary Michael Jordan led to victory. It was not one of the teams to beat when it joined the league in the 1996-67 season. But all other teams were shaken in the mid-1980s with the drafting of Michael Jordan, who is possibly the greatest player of all time. No one has come at par to his prolific scoring and defensive skills. His leaping ability earned him the nicknames "Air Jordan" and "His Airness". Through him and the very strong supporting cast assembled for the team, which includes Horace Grant and Scottie Pippen among others. The Bulls won three consecutive seasons: 1990-91, 1991-92, and 1992-93. Jordan then went on a hiatus in the basketball arena to pursue a career in baseball. He then came back in 1995 and gave the team its repeat “three-peat" in 1996, 1997 and 1998 before he left the basketball scene again in 1999. He came back in 2001 but as part of the Washington Wizards.

Along with the Bulls' history of victory are the jerseys the team wore. Their home uniform is in white with BULLS written across the chest and the number right below. They also had a home uniform with the player number placed off-center, a slight departure from the original Bulls' home uniforms. This version, worn by Jerry Sloan, was clean and un-cluttered. The Bulls road uniform showcased their red color with a script 'Chicago' across the front. In the late 1980's, Michael Jordan put on more solid red with Bulls on the top, exactly like their home uniform but in red. In the late 1990's, the Bulls introduced a second road jersey consisting of a solid black with red pinstripes. The latest incarnation of the Bulls' road black uniform gets rid of the pinstripes and is a nice shiny number with CHICAGO across the front.
